Man, my day was going so well today, but then I get to school, get something to eat in the cafeteria, and then all of a sudden I'm surrounded by a ghetto goon squad of females either trying to flirt with or pick a date with me. Luckily I was able to get out of that in one piece, but I swear, the next female that asks me if I have a girlfriend is going to be missing a head!
Well, in lighter events, my plan is underway. The Violet Vixen was dropped off in my dad's garage and I now have possession of the Beastie. Of course the damn step-mother had to interfere in business that which does not concern her. First she makes an idiotic irrelevant remark on the shop I took it to, saying that it (meaning the city of Brentwood) is a white neighborhood so they're going to screw me over. Yeah she has this god awful habit of making any kind of service situation boil down to a racial issue. Sure all the workers there were all white, but honestly it would not have made any difference if I took it to a shop where there are all black workers. They can be just as shady as the others, especially if their shop isn't making any kind of money. So, no, idiot step-mom, race has nothing to do with that. Then secondly, she got on me about me still paying the insurance on the car while I'm not driving. She seems to think that even though I'm not driving the car, I don't need to keep paying on the insurance. Now the truck itself is insured by my dad, but I still need to have an insurance card on me so that I have some form of proof of insurance to say I'm not an uninsured driver. Plus I still need that when I trade my car in for my new one. My policy ends in September, and if by chance in August I'm ready to trade it in, if I don't have the insurance on it while I'm driving to the dealer, and I for some odd reason get pulled over and they ask for insurance and I have none to show, I could get in some serious shit for that. So yeah, idiot step-mom, I'm keeping my insurance so I can have my ass covered.
So that's what's going on. As far as the loan on the car, I'll be checking up on the loan every end of the month (or when the last payment of the month will be made) to keep an eye on the balance. More updates to follow later.
