Well, I think the apartment is all ready for me to move in. I got a call this afternoon while I was doing forestry at work that now they want to set up a move-in date for me. I might go ahead and do it tomorrow before I go to school if they'll have me. All I have to do is set up my budget for stuff and what not. I don't hope to spend too much while I'm living there. All I really want is to have some bare essentials for now. Just electricity (this apartment is all electric so no gas to pay for me) and a phone line for my DSL connection. I might upgrade to cable if it's affordable for me, and that way I can get Vonage for a phone line (but for the time being, my cell phone will act as my land line since starting next month it will have unlimited talk on it). Then I can worry about other things such as TV and anything else leisure. Don't know if I want to go with DISH Network or DirecTV yet, but I do know I don't want to go with Charter...that'll kill me. As far as furniture goes, I don't know what I want to have just yet. I mean, there is most of the stuff in my room right now, but as far as like something for the living room...I have to look around for stuff. And I do need a new bed set. I actually want something bigger than what I have now. I might go to Goodwill or something. Maybe find something cheap but efficient. As soon as I get the address information, I'll post it here for everyone to see (and for those that have Facebook, it will be there for all of you to see as well).
Speaking of my DSL connection, that's my only anger point right now. My DSL is still down after about two and a half weeks, but that's all thanks to my god damn idiot of a step-mother, who after I've told her several times that there cannot be more than one DSL connection in a single household took it upon herself to activate a DSL account through AT&T. That in turn killed my access and I've had to resort to using my emergency twenty hour emergency Dial-up access (I called EarthLink, they ran a test on the line, and they said that the line sharing feature is screwed up). I've been wanting to kill her for the past three weeks, but since I'm in a good mood about this apartment, I'll hold off on that.
Oh, and I put in my vacation request for Friday May 8th for the journey to Chicago for ACen, and it got approved by the boss. So apparently, I don't have to worry about losing my job at any time. I must be doing okay if that vacation request got approved.
That's all for now. Be seeing you all.
