The interview today went well, I think. It was a four on one session...Theresa, Julie (HR Manager), Tim, and Marty interviewed me. There was an oral one and a written one, and I think I kind of failed at the written one. Some of the things on there I honestly did not know, but I hope they won't count it against me. I don't know how the interview with the other guy went, but I won't know if I got the full time gig until next week. So, keep your fingers crossed a little while longer.
In other news, I decided to take a detour after work to the Car Credit City in Fairview Heights, IL, to see their inventory (since I was very unimpressed by the inventory that Bridgeton and Eureka had). To my surprise, I found five vehicles that passed my cardinal rules (and you all know what those two are). I found a Chevy S-10, a Dodge Dakota, a Toyota Tundra, a Chevy Tracker, and the surprise of the day, a Saturn Vue that actually had a clutch in it (ciararavenblaze, remember I said that those things don't come in clutches, forget I said that...I somehow managed to find one)! The sales associate came out and talked to me about how the place worked and we decided to see if I pre-qualified for credit, and since I have no credit history, this might serve to help me. There's just one small problem that I have at the moment...THAT DAMN FORD!!! As it stands (and despite her obvious injuries), if I traded Vixey in, all I'd be getting is a maximum of $500 from the place (the guy said that if he can find a buyer that can squeeze a little extra in he'd call me and let me know). We'll see how this turns out. Somehow I knew I really wasn't going to get much for that piece of shit, injuries or no.
