Major Good News, First. ceestar42 starts working on Monday at the same place that I work, though on a different contact. We're both looking forward to it though for the next couple of weeks we won't see much of each other except on the weekends thanks to the training schedule. Still, though, it is a good thing. Just a Lil update. My RL Birthday was back on November 27th so I'm a year older, now. Also, I got married iRL on December 6th to ceestar42. *smiles* Mmmm.... Lets see. Okies. I've slacked off on meaningfull updates lately, so here goes. As of November 27th of this year, I have been employed as a Technical Support Agent with a smallish but NICE company for a full 90days... Soo... Um... Now I guess almost 4 months. Well... Two major bites on job stuff, today... I got offered two positions... One was a 6 week contract doing Helpdesk for a major Pacific NW Department Store Chain. The other was a Technical Support position for one of the major outsource support providers in the US that is a permanent direct hire position ( Read more... )

Well, as said in my last journal, I am looking for work again. Also still waiting to hear back about whether or not I still qualify and will receive unemployment while looking. Well... Seems I lost that really great job... Because the security and time-in policy at the workplace needs improvement... *sigh* Got a call this morning from the Temp Agency saying that I was no longer employed by the client... As a note... That -was- where I was working until 12:15pm Today...

The companies Savant and Encompass, both of which are outsource service providers for a major cell phone company, are owned by the same people. Savant handles promotions and Encompass handles Customer Care. I worked at Encompass about a year ago and got canned along with most of my training class because the training class started out WAY too full ( Read more... )
