london bridge is falling down...
ok, this is just weird. in the last week, i've had both of my parents in the hospital.
on friday, my mom was having some neck pain. her C-2, the vertabre that is right under the skull, is twisted and locked in up against her C-3. so she has pain and gets dizzy if she turns her head the wrong way. so she went to put her shoes on, got dizzy, and fell on the dog. so i come downstairs and see her on the floor, thinking she fell down the stairs!!! so i took her to the hospital. she didn't break anything, thank God!!! she had a huge bruse on her back and has to get pain medication shots for a few weeks. she's feeling better today and went to work. but i was very worried about her. i know she doesn't like being fussed over, but sometimes i still want to.
then yesterday, i got a call from my sister while on the way home from seeing my grandparents. my dad had gotten hurt at work. he was stocking shelves and got hit by a pallet of charcoal that fell off of a forklift. his leg was hit and was broken. now my dad and grandpa are at the same hospital. grandpa, my step-mom's stepdad, was having trouble with his legs again and needed to have surgery. because he has health problems, he's been in for leg surgery many times. so my dad is having his leg operated on today, so he has another spot to set off the medal detector. i hope he gets better soon. even thought he is so negative about us kids, he is my dad and i do love him.
so yeah, i'm a bit on edge atm...
