i'm out like trout
So I'm wrapping things up at work here....the week is FINALLY over. In about two hours I'll be on the road to the mountains of Tennessee. It's gonna be a long drive, bout 10hrs or so, all by my lonesome. And yeah, I've had little sleep this week due to having way too much to do. Insane week. So let's hope I don't drive off the side of a mountain. But no worries, I drove to Colorado by myself once. And I drove from California to Florida in 2 1/2 days another time. So I'm good.
I'm heading up to Tenn for a big family reunion. Part of me is excited cause I haven't seen so many people in a long time, especially lots of my cousins who used to be babies and are now teenagers. Yikes! But then another part of me is thinking this is gonna be so lame. Oh well, mom says the cabins are super nice. I'm mostly just looking forward to getting away from all this madness.
Sunday I'll head down to SC mtns to meet up with Scott and the band. We'll be leading worship for youth camps there. Apparently the camp is pretty sweet. They've got Hummer rides. rock! And a big freakin zip line.
So yeah, I can't wait to get to the mountains, away from the phone, computer, people, work, school. And I get to spend a whole week playing guitar and working on my rig! Yay oh yay oh yay.
