It Does Seem a Bit Orwellian
I try not to be too alarmist about such things, but there are really very few ways to look at this that does not bring up some very disturbing Gestapo and KGB images. As was mentioned on the Cato Institute's site, what they call "The White House's Snitch Project". Fox's website has a fairly good analysis of the situation as well. What is it? Well, it is The White House asking you and I to send them information about emails and so forth that disagrees with the Obama health insurance reform plans. I can't see this as anything but collecting information on US citizens who disagree with the current administration. Doesn't that ring some bells with you?
I already know I have a Stazi file, and possibly one with the KGB as well. I certainly have a security file at several US government agencies as well, but this is very, very troubling. I have to wonder now if this blog is going to make it to the White House.
