"This is quite fascinating" Walter said.
"That's not how I'd put it" Astrid said, as she carried in a tray of tools.
"Oh very fascinating, indeed" Walter said, lost in excitement over the experiments he was already planning
"I'm very sorry about your cow!" the girl cried out "I swear to God I'm a vegetarian!"
"Are you sure the restraints will hold?" Olivia asked as she walked into the lab "This thing was surprisingly hard to take down"
"I assure you the restraints are quite strong-even people seizing can't break out of them"
"I'm not going to ask how you know that" Peter said dryly.
"I'm just glad the cow is okay" Astrid said as she arranged the tools, and machines Walter prefered on a tray by the exam table.
"Hey!" The girl tied down to the table yelled, growing angry "When my husband hears about this he'll come and rescue me! And you'll all be sorry-"
Her yelling was cut off by the gag Walter crammed into her open mouth
"Thank you" Peter muttered with an eye roll. He tightened the straps with a yank.
"Now if you'll hit the light switch, I believe I can reproduce the sparkling effect you described earlier, with this ultraviolet filter" Walter said as he finished assembling one of his machines. Olivia crossed the room to comply, plunging the room into twilight.
"What if her husband does show up?" Astrid asked, worried.
"I wouldn't worry" Peter said, as he leaned in close "If he finds her nearly as annoying as we do, he'll be glad to be rid of her"
"And I can always use more specimens" Walter said and turned his UV machine on.
"Oooooh" everyone said as the sparkling awed them.
"That's the skin of a killer" Olivia reminded them "Don't let your guard down"
"Quite right" Walter agreed, "scalpal please."
