Around and About the Farm

It's been a cold January and February, but spring is starting to poke out tiny green tendrils.  We have been working on the herb garden and in the greenhouse, getting things prepped for the coming season.  But, more on those later...  Here's some pics from around and about the farm.

Cool pictures and talk about efficient vole control! I wonder if that's what's tearing up our lawn? We have mounds everywhere.

Yep, it's voles or moles. Probably moles mostly. We get them here, but not as bad because we are waterlogged at times. Should see my Dad's place. I was out there yesterday. He's got some lawns with mounds every 2 feet. Bleh.

I love the coyotes. I always ask them to stay on our property, so they won't get shot. They have never even looked twice at our goats. And the goats don't even bother with worrying about them now.
