TV Round-Up
Survivor today was awesome. (I don't really care about many of the people this season, and it's not particularly intelligent gameplay, but I enjoy watching people crash and burn, so that's been fun. Also I love that this is, like, the season of immunity idol idiot savants.)
Vampire Diaries today was even awesome-er. (Not as awesome as last week, of course, because last week was EPIC and had Lexie, but way more awesome than anything else I could dream of, especially pre-show when I was all "This will be SO AWFUL IT'S GOOD" rather than just straight-up good.)
Yesterday's Glee disappointed me on several levels. (It reminds me of when they tried to make very special episodes of Popular and we got, like, Booty Camp" and that one where everyone hates their bodies. You can't DO that with a show that wants to be a satire. IT DOESN'T WORK.)
Reality TV stars' real-life lives occasionally bother me more than their behavior on the shows does. (I cannot find confirmation or denial that Survivor 9/16 Eliza is dating BB6/7 James, but just the thought makes me feel vaguely ill. ELIZA NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)
I still haven't seen this week's HIMYM. (pearl_o and I have been BUSY, okay? And based on what I've seen on Twitter and LJ, I am glad we're spending our hard-earned time on something like VD.)
