said maybe you're gonna be the one that saves me

Much like last year, I'm going on "communication fast" for Yom Kippur- no internet or phones, basically, and not really interacting with people outside of services. (If you think this makes it alarmingly like any other day with me, well... I can't actually contest that.) It's a nice way to respect the way the holiday works, and it's really cleansing, too.

Probably it's something I should do more often than just once a year, but from what I understand, at a certain point you get labeled a misanthrope or a hermit or a Henry David Thoreau.

I highly encourage any/all of you to comment on my yearly gates of repentence post, because I am starting to feel guilty about not accepting enough criticism this year (...yes, seriously, shut up).

I think I will be spending much of this time I'm not at services doing crafty stuff. And the rest of the time sleeping. If you have any suggestions (for the former, not the latter; I am WAY knowledgable about sleep, thx), plz to leave them in the next two hours!

I know it's only going to be 25 hours, but... don't blow up the internet without me, okay?

And a safe and easy fast for anyone partaking in that.
