So I've been reading the manga of Fullmetal Alchemist in preparation for the new anime, which apparently is a complete re-do that's going to stick closer to the manga. It took me about 10 times hearing "Hagane no Kokoro" to realize that it's Ed, Al, and Winry singing. I kept thinking "why does his (ed's) voice change?" and "why does it sound like it's recorded in a tin can?"

Today... one of my favorite characters in one of my favorite shows died. She was a brave girl, beautiful and sometimes silly without quite meaning to be. She was confused, and straightforward... hotheaded and determined. She was also a lesbian (which was totally hot). And she died well. If she had to die, they did it in a good way. My HIDA scan came out clean. Sounds like good news, right? Nope. Basically it means not only am I back to square one, but I have to stay at square one for another two months until I go back to see Dr. Shah- my tummy doctor.
