Back from travelling! And a WIP
So I'm back from summer holiday travelling! :D Just got back from China yesterday. And just for the sake of it, I thought I'd put up some photos. I'll be putting some (these, probably) up on my dA as well, to show my irl friends and other people. :3
(This probably goes without saying but, this'll be a pretty image-heavy post.)
Most of the sightseeing was done in China, but before that I did go to Sydney as well. And I did take a few photos, so:
At Wynyard train station, where there are wooden escalators. Okay, I've never seen them before, so it was novelty for me...
Most of the photos are of China, though. Specifically Shanghai, since that's where my relatives (the ones who aren't overseas) mostly are. We did go on roadtrips to nearby provinces though. :D
I'd fully admit to a subconscious bias but Shanghai's food. Is amazing.
Yay, climbing up mountains! Specifically, Ma An Shan ('Horse Saddle Mountain') in Anhui province. We climbed up to the temple on top, and then up to the top of the temple, where we had tea.
... that's probably too many photos already. Stopping!
Image-heavy as this post already is, I'll stick in a random sketch/WIP thing I did before I went travelling too, just to put some art-ish stuff into this post. ^_^ Still needs to get cleaned and coloured and pretty much everything before it's presentable though...
Lithuania and Poland, doing the sort of stuff bff's do. Namely, shopping. (I should draw Poland and Italy shopping together instead shouldn't I? With Germany and Liet in the background carrying everything. :P) Aaand now that's pretty much it. Hm. -backs away-
