still took forever to get to sleep last night. Tonight I should be tired enough to drop right off, anyway. Also, I've found my night-time Benylin pills.
Teaching this morning went well. One of the tech guys from the school, Leonardo, is a student in this class. He's ... breathtaking. Deep chocolate eyes, corkscrew black curls, cinnamon Brazilian skin. He knows it, too. It makes me pause every time he makes eye contact.
I'm in the library now (go me!), and I'm totally the disruptive obnoxious one. I cough, I sneeze, I crinkle packaging and then I cough some more. Luckily the coughs are occasional and dry, and I have two sorts of lozenges to calm them.
Tomorrow's Candice's quarter-century. We're going out to celebrate after work. She's also quitting her miserable job in Dalkey in favor of a waitressing gig at a place 15 minutes from our house.
I'd really like to pass out somewhere for a few hours, but I need to take this time today to do work since I may not get the chance tomorrow.
Also, my computer's plugged in and says it's charging the battery, but the battery just keeps slowly losing power, no recharging. Talyn, I need you to stay intact until the end of September. Preferably for longer so I can make financial arrangements for any potential replacement, but by no means before September are you allowed to do any conking out. Note to self: back up dissertation progress on external hard drive every day.
