onward to glory
interview at karolina's school this afternoon! No response from the others, but K says two teachers just left her place so they're desperate for teachers. My interview's at 3 and I need to print out a scan of my college degree.
life at the new place is idyllic... having no internet for a few days has been nice. I've felt like I was on holiday: sleeping in late, reading books all day. Still, I gotta get back on top of my responsibilities soon enough. Candice was stranded outside our door a few days ago and met the neighbors two doors down, who gave us tea and suggestions about the internet. It's a mess to figure out, but it's being done piece by piece, methodically.
No response from Jeff about a meeting re: dissertation. Dang, I need to hear from him ASAP.
I can't really focus longer than that on this entry. I need food and focus in my belly before I head off to the interview. Internet at home maybe next week? if not, there's an internet cafe at the community centre across the street at which I'll surely become a regular.
