fuck, i hate this shit
i can't sleep a solid half hour tonight without coughing
(have been trying since, oh, 2, and gave up prolly around 5)
and the worst part is, there's not even anything to come up
also, a invited himself over which is fine but unexpected. no tension -- he called friday and said "i'm going to fight for this, i'm not going to give up, i've been an asshole and next week we're going to do something focusing on you -- what are you up to tonight?" i was like "shabbat dinner at the rabbi's" which he then tried to show up at and rabbi lent shut the front door in his face and proceeded to warn me about him. so not awesome. frickin' jews and their frickin' drama. apparently a had some problems in the past with drunk dials, which rabbi lent found unacceptable.
so anyway avi is fighting for this to work, which means not taking stress out on me and doing things besides coming over during his lunch break. we'll see how much fighting (for, not against) is successful.
in the meantime this morning i made a tasty snack. goat cheese and hot-hot chili peppers on mccambridge. i wonder if spicy foods are good for a cough or what.
if i make it through tomorrow, i go to the "emergency hours" at the campus clinic monday. pray for a new set of lungs for me.
may i finish by saying how tremendously grateful i am that andrew is letting me not row this weekend. holy hell i would have been fucked up had i tried to do anything yesterday or today.
