dean adam jaffe came in to my place of employment to get a sandwich.
i hope i didn't mutter "slimy economist" out loud when I handed it to him.
rainy all day. work was dead -- all the other schools and most businesses in the state had Patriots' Day off... but oh God, let accuweather be right about next week's temperatures.
by the bye, for those not on Facebook: I'm having a thing next Monday night. Heroes is returning to TV, and in honor of that I am making dinner (Dr. Suresh's Curry, Mrs Bennet's Texas Chili... you get the cheesy gist) and we are all watching the show at 9. I'm gonna see if I can reserve Ziv Commons, simply because that tv is about 15 times larger than the one in our common room.
free cone day happens at ben and jerry'ses around the nation tomorrow. anyone in the Boston area feel like an evening ice cream? let me know. I'd been all ready to ask date boy, but after saturday I'm gonna wait out this week and see if he talks to me first. i can't say i'm not upset he didn't at least tell me 1) in advance: that he didn't want to come to the party or 2) the night of: that he didn't feel like it, or he went out with friends, or whatever his excuse. I just like people to let me know these things.
masa and I seem to have taken to avoiding each other. he only goes to the kitchen when he knows I've left it. I'd much rather live alone than like this.
