we beat assumption by about 45sec and Clark by more.
our JV boat beat Clark by a length or two.
our novice girls beat the Assumption novice boat but not the other boat -- that was stroked by a non-novice.
our guys, different story, but sad as it is we expected that.
this is the first race i've ever won! we were way ahead the whole time and just kept walking away. amazing. everyone expected the other boats to make a move, kept waiting... and it didn't happen. we had such a good piece! un-burned out -- especially considering that tomorrow is a day off. parents brought us food, and we had our tent up, and although we all got rained on we're okay with it cause we all had dry clothes and the trailer area was paved.
don't much like the rain, or the snow that started just before our race began, but there was no wind on the course, which is always nice. Today and tomorrow are slated for rain -- so long as there's flowers out by my birthday, I'll be satisfied. speaking of my birthday, it's a month from yesterday. wahoo!
