I think I'll be taking a hiatus from LJ in order to get the rest of my life together for the next couple of weeks. mostly this will apply to reading my friendslist, I think. It doesn't mean I love you guys any less. It just means that I need all the quarter-hours that LJ steals from me in order to not fall behind in work. I'm gonna have to slowly transition into that, I think.
and I think I'll stop cataloguing the daily drivel. I don't know that I'll care three years from now what the workout was. (5x5'@6k-1, and it went really well....) Again, I'll need to transition into that. But at least until Thanksgiving, I'll try to use this LJ mostly for musings and memories:
-is it something genetic? There was once a Sally Forth comic strip about it. Why do men always put the toilet paper roll in with the hanging side down, while ladies much prefer it with the flap on top?
--memory: I was six years old or so. I awoke from a nap just as our plane was landing, and I fixated on the little blue lights that outline the runway. I knew those were what was keeping us safe. Ever since, I've always gotten a sense of comfort just from looking at those blue lights.
