a day, a day.

Presentation went well, as I discovered that there actually was more information there than I expected. 60min SS was reduced to 45 due to time constraints. RenPo, it just was, as usual. After RenPo, I ate lunch at Sherman and saw most darling BS (his very initials are BS, too! I can't believe I never saw that one before) putting his arm around and stroking the back of the girl next to him on two separate glances. (Though it most clearly reimpressed the image of his gorgeous fingers in my mind.) So it's now really become one of those unattainable courtly loves, which Prof. Flesch was just talking about today, where not only do you idolize the person you love, but also, the person's attached. But I decided against writing a sonnet. There are some much more attainable men I should continue to flirt with first -- though, of course, there's no telling what would have happened had I introduced myself to him by now, or what will happen with either of the possibilities I see in my head right now. I mean, I am notorious for either misreading or being blind to signals. Besides, if I'm trying to get over the guy, a sonnet -- no matter how fun, how courtly, or how Sidneyesque, that praises him would not be the right answer. I mean, heaven forbid! I might fall in love with him like Sidney did for his Stella.

Um... the coolest part about today was that I gave blood. Oh, and that I just felt hot all day. I have lost so much weight since I got back here; my belt's a notch tighter, none of my pants are fitting right and *WAHOOOOO!* I've almost completely lost the little rolls of fat on my back. Love handles, are they? (well, they won't be for long!)

Monday night, Emily had a dessert birthday party at Finale. I don't think even Denver can boast a "desserterie" -- a pretentious, if accurate, title. Lordy, was it tasty. And her friends are totally a blast. Eeka (Erika) is so incredibly funny! And they promised me the karmic good deed of getting me trashed since Eeka's older friends did her the privilege before her time, and so she said she feels obligated to pass it on. Bwaha. The bartender at Finale, and I think this was just due to Linz-related association, reminded me of JJK. Plus, we stayed till late enough that they were giving away the cookies they'd baked that day. And... wow. I've recently learned that nothing beats a Finale chocolate-chip walnut. *drool*

However, having gotten just over four hours of sleep last night and a half-hour quickie between classes today, I am rather drowsy. With a 4-6-page paper due at 9 tomorrow. Which I have not started. Let alone finished the book. By any means......
Working, working.

I wanna drink milk to go with my orga--- I mean, cookie (muahaha), but I don't wanna get tired. Someone please figure out a way to take out the tryptophan and come up with a catchy brand name for Non-Drowsy Milk!
