(no subject)
Wow, this week went fast! Two weeks left until I leave for Florida! (I'm skipping four days of class - am I insane? I think the unanimous answer to that question is - yes!) My grandma says John's house looks really nice. John and Judy totally gutted Tim's room and redid it; I guess they wanted it b/c it's the master bedroom. So the other two bedrooms are fair game for us:) We're redigging the fish pond while we're down there.
We had a "grammar breakfast" yesterday morning. We honestly have the funnest grammar class. Tuesday we're eating dinner at my grammar prof's house, which should be interesting. I think I've mentioned him before - he's a really awkward, nerdy (he likes Battlestar Gallactica) English buff, with this tiny, gorgeous Japanese wife.
Last night we had a sleepover at my RA's house, which was really fun. We watched a "What Not To Wear" Marathon and Sister Act 2. I feel so much more comfortable with all the girls - it's not like I'm just going through the motions anymore - they are truly my friends. That's what will really make it hard if I decide not to come back in the fall. I'm just so torn.
I checked out going into the Peace Corps yesterday (at my mother's insistence) - it sounds really neat. You get to live in an underdeveloped country, they pay you a modest salary and 15% of your Perkins loans, but this is the catch: you have to give them a 27 month committment (kind of like the army). That's a really long time. I don't know if it's worth it.
I saw Nicole Ramos on Thursday for like, 30 minutes. She was on campus for a little bit visiting friends, because Moody Chorale is touring in the area.
Ok, well time to hit the books - I have a lot to do and I think I'm going away again tonight. I love you all! xoxo
