I feel oddly guilty for having read that, as if I've violated someone's privacy.

But I guess they should have taken better care not to leave their stuff lying around randomly for strangers to find. :)

i can only assume it was dropped, which kind of makes me sad.

Well, it was clearly a rough draft so I'd assume it got copied in finalized form prior to being given to her* lover, and thus the draft was no longer needed. So while I doubt it was an intentional drop, I'd also say it being dropped doesn't necessarily mean that the poem never made it to the intended recipient. :)

* I say "her" because the writing style and font screams female to me, but who knows, it _could_ be a guy.

The subtext is that it's some mouth-breather who can't spell writing that, so the idea of this person reproducing makes me unseasy.

Is it funny that when I read this I think of some girl in a relationship with a jerk. She must be young. The way she talks about his pain going away when he's asleep makes me think she's a fixer. Oh boy was that ever me when I was young!
