Phoenix days 4 & 5
Hello from paradise :) Well, at least for me.
Day four was spent kinda relaxing. Slept in, went to lunch with my sister. Dropped her off back at work then went shopping on Mill Ave. One of my most favorite places to walk around. Another great weather day. Did some shopping, roamed around in a Borders for a while. Bought some souvenirs for my parents.
Now, day five. What a DAY! Or night really I should say. During the day I had to stick around cause my sister and her boyfriend were expecting a package that I had to be here to get. Sucky cause I wanted to go to a game, but oh well. I just watched DVD's all day. Caught myself up on the American Pie series!
So, Wednesday night was SPURS GAME! The one thing I was looking most forward too this vacation. So I get there about 5:30 and head down to the court. I like it here cause they let you get RIGHT down at the court. I stand over to the side by where the Spurs are warming up. I stood next to a guy who was in town for spring training from San Diego. A Padres fan! He was nice and we chit chatted the whole time. I ended up getting THREE Spurs autographs! Sean Marks, Rasho Nesterovic and Robert Horry! Great luck. Then Horry is signing and this guy behind me asks him to deliver a message to Bowen. I hate when people do this so I turned around and it was Mark Kotsay! And Phil Nevin! It was crazy. So I stayed on the court till they booted us off. Then I went and talked to Kotsay for a minute. Cool stuff :)
The game sucked cause NO Duncan and NO Manu. I think I am bad luck for Tim. He didn't play last time I went either. And he was wearing the same shirt! He better play in April when I go. The Spurs were just dreadful. I don't think they had one dunk while the Suns lit it up with slams. Amare was great and so was Marion. Still had a great time, but would have been better with Duncan, Manu and a Spurs win!
I'm off to the A's/Angels game in a bit. Should be fun!
