I finally got to have lunch with her!  It was somewhat overwhelming, but no less real and enlightening.  I had to send her an email thanking her... she made me think about so many things.  She asks just the right questions.  I think she'd be just as good back in clinical work as she is at research.

Well, I'm kind of jumpy at the moment - I heard some extremely loud bangs out near my front yard, which sounded quite like gunshots. However, since it's getting closer to the 4th of July, it very well may have been some excited fool, who just couldn't wait a few more days to play with his gunpowder-filled toys.
