That evening the entire unit synchronized. It really felt peaceful, patients were very calm and quiet. We were seated close to the TV. The new guy had chosen a movie to watch, "Charlotte's Web." He sat on a couch across from me, young guy, probably my age, long, light hair, skinny face. I looked at him and thought - that how real Jesus probably looked like. I walked across the room and sat close to him. We said our names. In my hands I held colorful star of David which I made earlier that day in art group. I told the guy that I won't stay here, in the unit, much longer and if he can teach me something. He smiled and said that people often mistake him for THAT guy. He asked:" What can I teach YOU?" I showed him my star of David and said:"Some ancient wisdom?" He laughed and said that he is all anciented out. It made me laugh out loud. Then he said that he is trying to keep in physical body for now.
