Yeah, so I haven't updated in a while. Might as well do it sometime, basically because I have no school tomorrow and no work tonight.
I don't do much. Ever. But you know, whatever to that. I don't sit with the normal people that I was sitting with before because they try to impress the two people sitting there with how "drunk" they got by drinking eight shots and all blah blah. I find it kinda funny, because half of them are anorexically thin (sports freaks. Not anorexic. But sports freaks) and therefore if they did drink what they claim -- there would be some dead kiddies.
Last Wednesday we left for choir tour. Stopped in Phoenix, saw the Lion King; slept; went and sang for Desert Ridge choir classes; travled to Las Vegas; saw the dinner theater show at Excaliber (huzzah!); saw fountains at Bellagio three times (we walked there, I got to see portions of "the strip"); slept; went to a high school that starts with a D...in Las Vegas; went to Cedar City, Utah; messed around all night (in the innocent way -- pillow fights, talking smack); slept; went to Southern Utah University where our clinician was very blunt in his ipinions and made some people realize that we aren't as good as we possibly could be BECAUSE they refuse to use vowels....retards; lunch, watched vocal ensemble, took a few classes that did not teach me a THING....; performed at the concert where we, along with the Vocal Ensemble, were the hits (I do not want to know what the clinician did to the other groups -- then again, we were the first one to go up..); came back, pillow faught; slept; traveled back down to Tucson. Drove through portions of Utah with snow as tall as the tour bus -- that's tall.
Rest in peace Chris Maier. I had a class with him (pe), I did not know him, but it is extrememly sad. Since I didn't know him, I didn't even attempt going to his funeral, but I heard that it many, many people showed up. I hope it made his parents feel a little better knowing how many lives their son touched, and same with his girlfriend. I was surprised to find out who she was, I've known her for a long while. I wasn't around Thursday to see what it was like at school, but I heard that it was no bueno, reasonably. I have to say that it is very sweet that people are making shirts to commemorate him, and writing #2 on their shirts and everything. Thus is to be expected, though.
