Hurrah GW~ The Prompt - “>_> I saw requests for Gundam so I couldn't help but come back and say this. If you write WufeixDuo... .-. I'd love you forever. -anestel” Well, despite my assurance that I’m not lacking 2x5 ideas, it actually took a while to think of a nice one shot you’d like. So I carried over the bath idea . . . kinda. Enjoy

Duo was thrilled when he looked up to see WuFei hovering over his desk. He loved hanging out with the Asian boy and, in his opinion, it didn’t happen nearly enough. “Fei! Hey, you wanna grab some lunch? I’m starving,” he began speaking immediately, hoping to grab this chance. They were both scheduled for vacation this next week and Duo wouldn’t get a chance to even see the other boy for more that a week.

He trailed to a halt, however, at the grim look on the other boy’s face. “Are you . . .” That was part of what Duo loved about WuFei. He was straightforward and forceful when he had to be, during missions, but one on one he was so adorably shy. He’d noticed the boy’s habits during the war and now that they weren’t in constant life or death peril, wondering where their next meal would come from, Duo had the chance to appreciate WuFei all the more.

The Chinese boy swallowed and started again. “Do you have plans for your vacation already?”

“Aside from sitting around on my ass staring at the tube? Nada. Why, what’s up?”

WuFei hesitated again, fiddling with something in his hands, just hidden from Duo’s gaze. “I was wondering . . . I mean, I don’t really know anyone else . . .” Duo counted down, waiting for the eruption. Fei would get annoyed with himself for being so shy and the offer would turn into a demand. It was a callous tendency that scared most people off, but to Duo it was just another part of Fei that he liked seeing. His mouth turned down in a frown and his forehead creased and Duo just smiled at the expected change in his friend. “Winner sent me tickets to a hot spring for my birthday,” WuFei snapped. “Two tickets and I don’t have anyone else I trust enough to take.”

Duo’s eyes widened to impossible size. “It was your birthday? When was it, I can’t believe I missed it!”

“Do you want to come with me or not?” WuFei snapped, annoyance pushing him to the edge.

Duo’s smile was as wide as his eyes. “Yes, yes! A real Japanese hot spring. Wow, Fei, this’ll be fantastic-“

“Tomorrow,” WuFei interrupted as he turned away. “I’ll pick you up for lunch so we can get going.”

Duo was still grinning madly. “A real Japanese hot spring. I wonder if it’ll be traditional hot spring wear.”

It was everything Duo had thought it would be and more. He could see enjoyment in WuFei’s eyes as well and knew he liked it as well. They’d already been there for three days and had another two before they’d be going home again. There was fantastic food from many countries; Duo picked experimentally at the sushi, but he and Fei both stuck mainly with things like teriyaki and fried rice. There was ping-pong and board games and pool, a gorgeous rock garden and a vast library. There was even a karaoke room, which Duo took great pleasure in and WuFei avoided by a wide margin.

The place had a different affect on each boy. For WuFei the calm atmosphere made him feel relaxed and at ease. He smiled more often and interacted nicely with the other guests. For Duo, the meditative feel served to calm him a great deal. Most of his energy was drained away and he knew WuFei at least felt it was an improvement.

Although, a good deal of his giddiness returned with every trip to the hot springs themselves. It was traditional clothing after all, just robes to get to and from the outdoor springs, and nothing more than towels once you were there. Every excursion was planned down to the second. Both boys made it a point to travel there at least once a day and after the first day spent in observation, Duo had figured out his companion’s habits.

He’d come for just a quick wash after his morning exercises, but Duo was rarely able to join him then. Thankfully, the Asian boy chose to take his actual bath in the late afternoon, just before dinner. The day before they were going to leave, Duo followed his routine again. He caught sight of WuFei heading along the path and hurried to catch the other. He darted down the gravel-paved walk, dashing past WuFei in a fit of giggles and undressing quickly once he reached the changing area. He was already seated in front of the faucets scrubbing himself down when WuFei slid through the door.

Duo was always careful with his timing, but he’d figured out the second day that if he rushed, and didn’t have to wash his hair, he could be rinsing off just as WuFei discarded his concealing towel and sat to clean himself. And the view was simply amazing . . .

Duo grabbed his own towel and used it to gather his hair up onto his head, pinning it in place as he scurried over to the hot water and slipped in. From here he couldn’t see WuFei’s front, but the view from behind was just as glorious and after a few minutes when the Chinese youth stood, Duo hastily jerked his eyes away so he wouldn’t be caught staring.

This was the fifth time now they’d bathed together, and Duo was enjoying every second. But this time, his mind was heavy behind all the happiness. They’d be leaving tomorrow and aside from these disguised voyeuristic moments and twice openly watching WuFei train in the morning sun, Duo had done nothing to let the other know how he felt. It was nice just hanging out, and every night Duo was saying prayers for Quatre since the blonde was responsible for it all, but he was hoping something more would come from this.

More than staring at that marvelous ass anyway.

Duo shook himself slightly and forced his attention elsewhere. Usually the hot spring was filled with half a dozen other guests. Duo had never been that fond of people watching, but it was a good distraction from the boy sitting beside . . . Duo blinked and looked around again, casting his gaze at every corner of the little area. There was no one else there. Well, no, that wasn’t entirely accurate, there were two old men. But one of them appeared to be asleep while the other was reading a small book and both were all the way on the other side of the pool of water . . .

Duo glanced at WuFei and swallowed thickly. “Hey, Fei, I wanted to tell you . . .” One onyx eye opened to look at Duo. The braided boy licked his lips slightly and smiled. “I wanted to say thanks. For bringing me, I mean. Here. It’s been really great.”

WuFei opened both his eyes now and was looking more fully at Duo, expression a bit solemn. “There wasn’t anyone else. I don’t have any friends in the Preventors . . . Heero . . . Quatre sent the tickets with a note saying to ‘take someone special’.”

Duo’s heart fluttered in his chest. WuFei wasn’t saying that he was someone special. It was him beating himself over his head and being antisocial. But the thought of it was enough to make breathing difficult. Duo hated when WuFei talked so badly about himself, even if it was a perfectly accurate measure of his social abilities, but to think he could be WuFei’s ‘someone special’ . . .

WuFei was still speaking, muttering regrets that only other Gundam pilots ever heard. Worries that would make many of his coworkers reconsider their opinions, wishes that he could find the courage to take that step and open up to someone he wanted to talk to. His eyes raised from staring at the water, wanting to know that Duo understood what he was saying.

WuFei gasped, going utterly still as Duo’s lips brushed his. The brunette’s hands rested on either side of his jaw and the boy’s clever tongue was teasing against pale lips. Duo’s eyes were shut, enjoying the sensation, while WuFei’s were huge, trying to get his brain to wake up and understand what was going on.

“Whooo!” Duo jerked away suddenly, spinning to find the two men across the hot spring staring at them, wide smiles on their faces. “Now that’s entertainment!”

The other man was laughing, watching from over the top of his book. “Get a room, you two.”

“Don’t tell them that! I’m bored, don’t chase off the show!”

WuFei could feel his cheeks burning and could see a matching blush on Duo. The brunette stumbled back a little in the water and retreated to the edge of the pool. He groped madly for his towel as he climbed out of the water. “Duo-“ WuFei’s voice was quiet and he knew it didn’t reach his friend as Duo dashed for the changing room door.

WuFei couldn’t find where Duo had gone. He hadn’t been in their room or any of the common areas. WuFei had even gone into the karaoke room and suffered through two minutes of very off-key Twomix while he searched the shadows for the familiar braided head. He spent an hour searching before he finally gave up; no one ever could find Duo when he hid away from the world.

WuFei hadn’t been able to properly relax before and with his mind whirling, he decided he needed to visit the hot spring again before he tried to get some sleep. He didn’t bother folding his robe, simply throwing it into one of the baskets and shuffling out the door. It was getting late and he was expecting the water to be empty, but WuFei found himself suddenly face to face with the object of his earlier search.

Duo’s head popped up the very second WuFei walked out onto the paving stones. He quickly snatched the towel off the top of his head and pulled it into the water to cover his lap. “Fei, uh, what’s up?”

For a long minute, WuFei said nothing, staring at the boy before him. “I was looking for you,” he managed to stutter out.

Duo sank a little lower in the water. “Yeah, um, well I went for a run.”

“For an hour?”

Duo shrugged, sinking even lower. “Wasn’t that hard, used to do even longer every day. Just needed to get clean again before bed.” He wasn’t looking at WuFei, the boy noticed. Well, not directly, he kept stealing sideways glances at him. “Listen, Fei, about earlier-“

He fell silent - proof that he was indeed watching - as WuFei blithely stripped off his towel and stepped into the water. “It’s okay, Duo, I understand about earlier.”

Duo laughed a little, one hand ruffling his hair. “Yeah, just wanted to make sure you knew I wasn’t serious. I mean, just a misunderstanding, you know?”

“I understand,” WuFei repeated, moving closer to Duo. “I know it’s hard . . . it would be okay, I mean, if you were serious.” Duo blinked once and looked up at WuFei. He knew that halting speech and strained expression. It showed up every time WuFei was trying to express himself, but, that couldn’t be it. “It’s hard to say things like that, but it’s kind of hard to misunderstand a kiss . . .”

“Fei?”

Frustrated, WuFei’s eyes squeezed shut for a moment before pinning Duo in place. Then he was leaning into the American, pressing their lips together. One arm was steady around Duo’s shoulder as his other hand slipped beneath the water’s surface to pull away the infernal towel and rest against a bare hip.

Duo returned the kiss, fighting between pulling WuFei closer and pushing him away. He finally settled for the latter and forced the other back enough to meet his eyes. Questions flew through his head, but he couldn’t seem to relay them to his mouth and just gaped at WuFei.

The Asian boy was blushing furiously, confused by the rebuke. “I thought . . . I was trying to tell you before, when I told you what Quatre’s note had said . . .” And just like that the questions were gone from Duo’s face. He was smiling at WuFei and the other was able to calm down a little. “Stupid old men,” he muttered. Clever fingers pulled at the pins holding up Duo’s braid and began undoing it as it fell into the water. “If they’d just kept quiet I could have been doing this an hour ago.”

Duo’s hands returned the favor, pulling WuFei’s hair tie our and casting it off into the surrounding bushes. “Well if we weren’t such cowards, we could have been doing it days ago. But we’re alone now . . .”

WuFei was kissing him again, guiding Duo back against one of the rocks. Slowly he kissed down the teen’s neck, tilting his body up to bring more of his skin out of the water. Duo’s mind reeled again, totally surprised at this side of his normally reserved dragon. Not that he was complaining as lips fastened over one nipple and fingers began to stroke along his crotch. He could actually feel WuFei’s lips turn up in a smile when he moaned slightly.

Duo was too distracted with what was happening to his cock to realize that WuFei’s other hand had drifted from where it had been supporting his waist. He gasped when one finger slid between his ass and pushed slowly into him. “Shit!” He arched at the sensation, cracking his head against the rocks supporting him. “Ow, damnit.”

Immediately WuFei was there, his free hand gently brushing aside strands of wet hair. “Are you all right?”

WuFei’s eyes were suddenly hesitant again and Duo smirked at him, determined to banish that nervousness once more. “Just a few years ago, you and I were both blown to hell and back on a regular basis. I think I can survive a little bump on the head.” He wiggled around the finger still inside of him and groaned at how it felt. “Especially if you don’t fucking stop.”

For another moment, WuFei just blinked, studying him. But then he smiled, thrusting his finger deeper and making Duo arch back again. This time he kept his hand behind the other boy’s head, cushioning it. “I didn’t say I was going to stop, I just wanted to know if you were all right. It’s less fun if your partner’s not coherent, you know.” A second finger joined the first and Duo just nodded, unable to put together a sentence just then.

WuFei worked for another minute to loosen Duo, but then pulled away to look at him. Duo’s cheeks were flushed, his eyes hooded in a sultry gaze. WuFei couldn’t wait any longer to take this vision for himself. Their lips met again as WuFei slid into Duo as the braided boy pulled them closer together. WuFei held as still as he could while the other adjusted, stroking his cock slowly to distract him.

Then Duo’s hips were moving, muscles clenching and working around WuFei and the dragon gasped and moaned. Instantly he was moving, plunging into that sweet heaven again and again. A bit of fumbling and he felt Duo tighten, a sharp cry catching in his throat, and WuFei did his best to hit the same spot with every thrust.

It was too short, in WuFei’s opinion. He could feel his end getting closer and knew he couldn’t last much longer. He closed his hand around Duo again, pumping in time with his thrusts, but too soon he fell over the edge. Duo’s fingers raked down his back and WuFei cried out into the night air.

Duo hadn’t come, he realized, and looked at the other apologetically. He pulled away to catch his breath, hand still working around the brunette’s hard member. Then in one swift movement he’d lifted Duo the rest of the way out of the water. The braided boy’s surprised cry rang in the steamy air, but WuFei ignored him. He pulled Duo’s legs up over his shoulders and lowered his lips to wrap around the boy’s length. Long fingers tangled in WuFei’s hair as Duo’s cries and moans quickly peppered the night, ending in one final shout.

After a few moments, Duo pushed himself up on the rock, gradually sliding back into the water as WuFei retreated. “Wow,” was all he muttered as he waded towards the side of the pool.

Smiling himself, WuFei followed the other. “Where are you going?”

Duo climbed out of the water and looked back at his new lover. “We go back home tomorrow, right?” A little confused, WuFei nodded. “Well then, I figure we’ll have one more shot at this hot spring before we leave, but there’ll be a lot more people tomorrow morning.”

WuFei climbed out himself, grabbing his towel and slowly drying both of them off, spending extra time on specific parts of Duo’s anatomy. “I don’t follow you.”

Duo caught at the other’s hands and pulled them close together. “I’m gonna be hard pressed not to jump you next time we take a bath together.” WuFei’s face flushed red just at the thought and Duo smiled wide before continuing. “So I figure we need to make it so I’m too tired to do that, huh?”

Then he was gone, disappearing into the changing room and off towards their bedroom. WuFei followed quickly after a slight pause of shock. It was going to be an interesting night.
