Total number of books owned: Wow, uh...okay, I counted a number of years ago, but then my personal library goes through several transformations a year. Buy, get rid of, loan and never see again, buy some more...I'd say, like...well, I have 5 bookcases completely filled, and many more scattered around in boxes and on the floor. If you ever get the chance to see the Dickman brothers - or one of them singly - do it.  I just came from a reading where both Matthew and Michael (identical twins, yes) read excerpts from their books and their recent works, and oh my god, amazing.  Very nice, personable dudes, should you also get the chance to have them sign your book/chat.  ( Read more... )
