Not so special today

My baby brother is miserably sick, and I'm sitting next to him on the bathroom floor, typing this while he tries to sleep away the nausea.  But, on the plus side, I'm beta-ing some totally awesome fic at the same time, and I got a new student to tutor today so, really, today's not completely awful.

On a side note, how do I end up surrounded by Repubs?

Anybody else having a crazy day, or is it just me?
