Role Play Stuffs so we don't Forget
Alright, so Beth and I plotted out where our Midnighters role play is going. Well, generally speaking. And I thought I'd put in here before either of us forget. So, what's going to happen is, after they contact Rex and the others, they are going to come down, since they were already on their way somewhere else nearby to help another group of new Midnighters. They stop off to see Calder and Rose, and that's all well and good. They learn how their powers work and how to use them better and stuff like that. Cue the next midnight. Rex and the others took off, but somehow, they run into Rex again. But what they don't know is that it's not Rex. It's that darkling that fused with Rex in the second book. We're calling her Xer for now, 'cause it's Rex backward. He wants to be like the Midnighters, and exist in both worlds, Midnight and the 'real world.' He's smart, he can think. Just like Rex got some of the darkling traits, Xer got some of the human traits. He's humanenesque in appearance, so he can fool Calder and Rose into thinking he's a real dude. They're fooled, at least for now. Xer doesn't want to help all the darklings get over, just himself. He wants to exist in both worlds, that way, one day, a few generations from now, the darklings will have evolved, and things would be the way they were int he old times.
