"Okay, Connor and Gunn go to the left, Illyria and I will go to the right, but remember, not all demons are evil. There will most assuredly be demons like Merle down here trying to avoid the chaos. Spill the right blood, Connor, Charles. Charles, you'll be able to tell what demons are evil, as will I. Let's go."
Whether we killed demons good or evil, was irrelevant to me at this juncture. There were thousands of deceased demons outside, which unless I was mistaken, could not have been good for the indentity of our mission to keep fighting demons.
As we moved forward, my senses primed, searching, desperately, hopeful that there were more demons for me to crush, I had to question Wesley about that very thing.
"Wesley, there are thousands of demon carcasses above the ground. Wouldn't it be prudent for us to clean them before the human authorities should happen upon them? I find myself in doubt that it would be good for the human populous at large to know of such a demon presence."
It occurred to me that many humans, so weak, so frail, had been maimed above and many more that had escaped had seen the demons, but it could be easily considered an aberration if the demons were cleaned, quickly.
We had walked many yards, and I could not sense or smell demons anywhere. It was quiet, and something else occurred to me, even though it did appear that there was much more in the way of tunnel for us to search before we curtailed this forward motion, away from Charles Gunn and Angel's boy.
"The demon that escaped went the way that Gunn and Angel's son, went, Wesley, should we not go in their direction. The only thing that I can hear is the drip of water from above, falling at our feet, and the water below us and I very much wish to destroy more demons, here, below and make more carcasses..."
Wesley studied me, and another wish of mine was to get sexual with him again. That had been most pleasurable. Although, I knew that right now, the timing for such a set of pleasurable actions was not right. We had ceased forward movement as he faced me.
