Well, I got the job at the credit union, which is pretty awesome.  I start bright and early tomorrow morning, and for the next week and a half I'll be working non-stop.  After that, no more zoo.  I'll miss a few people there, but for the most part, I'm glad to be rid of it.  And the credit union will be a step in the right direction.  Year-round, better pay, air conditioning, and Sundays off.
I also got my schedule for UMSL.  Geology is amongst my classes.  I can't say I'm terribly thrilled for any of them, but oh well.  At least I have Friday's off, for which the credit union will be bowing down before me.  Plus, next semester I'll be able to get into stuff actually pertaining to my major, which I'm rather thrilled for.  I much prefer the way UMSL structures it's education degree, which is actually structured, whereas Lindenwood said "you take these classes, pass them, eventually you'll student teach."  This is a bit more complicated and daunting, but a) I feel like I'll be more prepared to teach and b) I feel like I can tackle UMSL more efficiently and without confusion.  It takes a lot of the edge off, because I have very clear, step-by-step instructions on what I have to do.  My dread of going to UMSL is quickly fading away.
Mom, Gus, and Riley returned to Mississifrica this morning.  This visit was much nice and considerably less stressful than their last one.  The whole crew is coming up for the week before Beau and I go to California, mostly just to see me for my birthday.  I'm rather looking forward to that, because I get to see my siblings, and because my last two birthdays were pretty much overlooked in the midst of other drama.  It should be a good couple weeks.
