Brief update
So, I'm not up to much. Work, paralegal course, SMART (for those in Oregon, seriously, volunteer at SMART - the kids are awesome!), and writing when I can. I just got promoted at work, which was awesome. Me being me, I like finding out that I don't entirely suck at what I do!
Not awesome was a co-worker getting fired. It was well-deserved (can we say, good-bye constant melodrama?) from the sounds of it, and work has been more tolerable, even if I'm frazzled from the extra work.
I'm hoping to make my way back down to Los Angeles end of May, but I'll have to get with my boss and see how I can make that happen.
Mostly, I love my hubby and my crazy dogs!
