Responsibility makes me feel ill.

I think I might have adopted a cat. It's in my room, in my lap, licking my toes. I don't know how much more adopted a cat can get. But thinking about caring for it makes me change my mind.

I can't bring myself to name it, because that will mean it's really mine.
