I only have to transcribe two more songs that I know by heart, take a bus to Boston, and then I am done with classes at Berklee. But I am procrastinating and don't want to do it.
I have a cold-ish thing, but it happens every year at the beginning of summer so I'm pretty sure it's not swine flu. And if it is, whatever. I don't sweat stuff.
Friday I get $100 to play pennywhistle for like 5 minutes. Of course, I have to actually practice before then... That's the tricky part. I bought four pennywhistles in the mail, and three of them are really sweet, in different ways. (They're around $8 a piece, and the one I decided I like less was only $6.)
A week from Friday, (or thereabouts) I move to Boston again. It will be fun. And then I will be semi-independent. That will be nice.
Went to the beach Monday. It was nice.
I realized I am able to transcribe songs now while listening to another song. One song to set the mood, and one for the actual assignment... It's nice. One of my few peeves about going to Berklee was that I couldn't listen to music while doing my homework most of the time.
