I don't have a lot of time before I lay down and go to bed, but...
Life is looking up! George found a job! Smokey Bones on Beechmont.. Seriously, right down the street from Tony Romas. And the best part is NOT that he's making just about the same amount of money, but that Sam, Tim, Jason, Kara, and Jayme all got jobs there too! LOL They all worked at Tony Romas with him! He's happy, and that makes me happy. It was nice being the "bread winner" if only for two weeks. ;)
Work has been very good. The girls I work with are so fun! I really adore this job. Sometimes though, they have me working 6 or 7 seven days in a row, and I just get really tired by the end of that run. That's my only complaint thus far. I love all the girls. There are SO many of them! I've really only talked to a few of them, other than the managers. There's just so many, and we're hiring more. We have to have 21 associates, by Black Friday. Oh and yeah--I open Black Friday. I have to be there at 4am... THAT SUCKS! But we're having a HUGE sale, so come by and get something! Sydney is going to have the best Christmas ever. :)
Merri is doing better. The stroke was more serious than the ER Doctor said, though. Her family Doctor told her yesterday that it took up 3.2 cm of her brain, that is considered a moderate to severe stroke, not mild. Mild would be like 1 to 1.5 cm. Anyway, she's still adjusting. But she's following Doctor's orders and she's taking care of herself and so are all of us. People have been so great to the family. Sometimes, people surprise you.
Last night I had the best time in the world with my best friend. We had a little 90210 watching party! Oh hell yes! It's finally out on DVD! I can't wait to buy it!! :D Then we played one on one CatchPhrase, which was her way and her idea, and I won both times. LOL Then we had some fun girly talks, and finally, we danced to random Jock Jams ("Freeze! .... Rock!") at like 3am. She's the best in the world. I love her<3
Well, I have to open and it's been a pretty long day.. So I'm going to bed! Goodnight!
