Woooo...haven't updated this in 3 months and I am procrastinating getting ready for work so I figured I would do so now.
The semester is finally over and I am so thankful. Ended up dropping my Statistics class the first few weeks of school, and dropped Theories of Personality after I failed the first 2 tests. It was one of those classes that no matter how hard I studied, the questions on the test had nothing to do with the material. So I stayed in Social Psych and Foundations of Behavioral Research and I never went to either of them. I got a B for the semester in Social Psych and I went to my final exam for Behavioral Research and my class wasn't there so I skipped out on that and still got a C for the semester. So all in all this was the worst college semester ever and I am kind of disappointed in how unmotivated and unambitious I was, but it really made me realize that I don't want to follow through with Psychology. I guess it's better to find that out now, rather than when I'm 6 years in working towards a PhD.
I'm all signed up for next semester. I'm taking Drawing I, 2 Dimensional Design, Renaissance to Modern Art History, and Photography I AGAIN because it wouldn't transfer over from CCRI. I'm hoping that doing something I actually love will get me some motivation back. If not then I am just going to drop out of college and work full-time for a while.
I am finalllly starting to feel a little better after 10 months. Gained almost 10 pounds back. I got all the way down to 115 lbs which I haven't weighed since 6th grade, so it feels good to not have protruding hip bones anymore. I am eating larger amounts of food and better stuff. Eating a lot of plain pasta which has helped me put on some calories, more vegatables, fruit, been drinking soy milk. Still have to stay away from spicy, greasy, high sugar and fatty foods because my stomach just can't handle them anymore. Been doing pilates too which is helping me feel physically better.
Picked up hours at work... Wed 9-5, Thurs 1230-9, Fri 9-5, Sat 1230-9, and every other sunday 9-5. It gives me 31-38 hours a week which is good. It keeps me busy and I have 2 days off every week...so someone call me with plans on mondays and tuesdays.
Um...that's about all there is to say right now. Hope everyone has a good summer! :)
Peace
