Books and Movies

Ok for those who care and well for those who don't, skip this journal entry.

Finally accessed files on other computer.

Books
9 books (I thought 8 and then remembered one I had forgotten to list) for June is on par with last year. I wonder what I was doing last June that I only read 9 - probably the same as this June - writing reports.
9 books for July is 4 below last year.

This takes my total up to 86 books read this year so far, an average of 12.28571429 a month. This is about 5 books below the average books read a month last year. Leaving me 125 books to read in the next few months to be on par with last year. I don't think it will be done somehow.

Movies
My guess of 3 for June is on par with last year and my watching of 5 in July is also on par with July of last year. This gives me 26 movies watched at the cinema this year, an average of 3.714285714 a month. This is also on par with the 3.5 watched on average a month last year and what with greater union and hoyts saying they are slashing prices of movie tickets to attract people back to the cinema it is looking better and better. (What is even better is the last 3 films I have seen I have managed to stay awake in... I wonder if vitamins has anything to do with it???)

Anyway this is just for me really but anyway thought I would share.

So far this month I have finished one book - Mercy part of my Jodie Picoult fixation and seen one film Serenity . A good beginnning to the month. Bit worried about a book I can't find that I did want to finish. It might be in my car - next place to search but sure I brought it in. Hopefully didn't accidently release it. A huge TBR list so had to resist going crazy in Galaxy today (ok didn't resist too hard but oh well.....)

Anyway to bed - now the question is to DVD or to read.... I think to read will win! Enjoying new book Dreamhunter which my mother gave as a birthday present and has been nagging me to read. LEast she has chosen well - the last few books she has given me I have already read including the other birthday book. Good night!
