(no subject)
Lately my parents have been really lienient about where I go and what I do. I used to have to have an exact plan and an exact time I would be home. Now our conversations go like this:
Me[2 pm]: "Is it okay if I go out?"
Parents: "What are you going to do?"
Me: "We're not quite sure yet."
Parents: "Who are you going to be with?"
Me: "I'm going to pick up Mariel, but we'll probably meet up with everyone else too."
Parents: "Be careful, and be home by curfew!"
And they always always wait up for me. Tonight I got home and both of them were in bed. I'm not complaining at all, I'm happy they are giving me this freedom. But it just seems really weird, like some surprise is going to be sprang on me. I feel really on edge, like it's almost too good to be true.
