Hols always seem to sneak up on me. I've got calendars to remind me of important dates and the journal helps a bit. But Easter sort of inched its way in and I had no idea until suddenly it was Sunday and I had to Apparate home for the celebration. I'm much too old for the Egg Hunts, but I'd helped out with the Egg Rolling contest in the village. We're still thought of as the weird family on the hill, though. I'd like that to change, but I'm not sure how that'll happen when I'm rarely at home and work's taking up most of my waking hours.

I hope everyone else's holiday was alright, to those whose families celebrate it anyway.

[Private]I know Harry's denying there's anything wrong with him moving in with Malfoy. And I've seen with my own two eyes that Malfoy can be downright decent if he wants to be. Could've knocked me over with a willow leaf when I was at that table in the Leaky Cauldron. 'Course Harry was just trying to bury himself in drink and friendship. Can't blame the bloke any, I suppose. But that's still Malfoy. He might've changed. Merlin, I know he's changed. We're none of us the same as we were as first years! It's just--

I can't let go of the past, sometimes. I really ought to. I ought to move on and not worry because the future is what's important now. Rebuilding everything after the war.

But my old habits are all I've got.[/Private]
