Unsure of how many eyes are actually reading this, but I'll attempt an official written request anyway.
Some of you may already know that I've found work at St. Mungo's. Tending to the medicinal plants for the hospital apothecary is nice enough, but sometimes there are projects which overwhelm me. And I figure this is the quickest way to announce things.
The herbal nursery needs old parchment. Newspapers'd be ideal. They'll be shredded up and mixed in with mulch, then spread into pots to help feed the plants. We've basically run out of our supply, and we might go over our monthly alotted budget if we bought so many subscriptions to so many newspapers. But I figure if I asked around, then we wouldn't have to spend so much money, and then people can get rid of their old papers if they'd like.
If we get an overflow of parchment, the extras will be donated to Hogwarts for continued rebuilding purposes. As many of you've seen with your own eyes this past weekend, the schoolgrounds are in dire need of help. The greenhouses will need a large amount of mulch once lessons resume, and I hope this will be a way in which everyone can take part in the restoration of Hogwarts.
Donations will be gladly accepted at the front reception desk once I tell their staff--
Hope they won't be too cross with me--
Wouldn't be proper to have a queue of wizards bringing stacks of old rubbish to the hospital--
