YAY kinda...
Odd weekend is odd.
Started off odd and ended odd. Friday I got to watch my sister have something of a nervous breakdown. She started to cry and everything. And me, being the silly bint that I am, turned around and started to be nice to her. See... problem is, she sucks with money. She got herself into trouble with some things and now owes more money than she gets. She's screwed, basically. So I kinda said that, when I start work, the money I get will be going toward paying the debts (minus a few pounds for myself). But that'd be a hundred+ pound a week for her, plus whatever she gets. On Saturday I think she told my mum I said that, and my mum was kinda proud of me... Said Gemma should appreciate me more. *laughs*
Anyway, Friday night at about 10:30, my sister went to bed, and 20 minutes later came running out because she heard some kid crying for his mum to wake up. Luckily it was nothing. The mother said the TV was too loud and she'd not been able to hear him or something. But my sister was terrified something had happened to the girl. So she, myself, the spawn and our nextdoor neighbour went running around to see if she was okay.
I wonder if we pissed her off. I can understand that someone would get offended if their kid was crying and someone came around demanding to know if something was wrong. But on the plus side, if something HAD been wrong, she should be happy to know someone would have been there to help. Dontcha think?
The rest of the weekend went without much of a hitch. I got some odd card saying I have mail they couldn't send to me because there weren't enough stamps or something. It's silly. So I have to go and pay £1.08 after this so they can sent the letter/package/whatever to me. I wonder what it is though... It better not be any kind of government/official kinda letter, otherwise I'm gonna be writing back and complaining they're assholes!
Randomly... I went on Wiki to look up PoT characters for their names (I forget how to spell some of them!) and saw something... odd.
WHY... does every character have just a little bit about them, including the main characters of Seigaku (You guys can argue that point, but seigaku ARE the focus for the thing!)... And yet, Atobe has 10x as much as anyone else!
I remember some time ago there used to be separate pages for each character, until someone deleted them. I heard the reason was because they believed that side-characters (or something) didn't deserve their own page. Well, I wanna know why Atobe deserves a whole chunk of text that goes into detail about him and his background, while others have a paragraph or less! I'm sorta tempted to edit it and just leave a nice comment "Atobe Keigo: Egotistical prick, richer than you, knows how to hold a tennis racket." *grin* I think that'd be awesome!
On the job and internet front, I still have a job waiting for me and my sister's now gotten a job. She starts the same day as me! This is really odd... all year I've been looking for a job and she's been looking the last few months, and suddenly we both get work at the same time! On with the odd theme~ My internet... won't be getting paid for today because my brother is moving house and we're helping him move, so don't have the time. But it'll be getting done tomorrow afternoon so that's cool. So long as it gets done I'm happy.
Then I can go about getting both mine and my sister's computers working, then I'll be back online and very happy! I might even get WoW back up and working! *laughs* Who knows? I'll See how things go.
