What's up? I know, I know, it's been awhile. :)
Here's something exciting! I know someone who was featured in the Highlights section of newsweek.com! A friend of mine was just ordained as a Catholic Priest. She is one of 6 or 7 female Catholic priests in the US. She is a member of the Ecumenical Catholic Communion- a fairly new offshoot of the Roman Catholic church. I actually attended her ordination. It was a really powerful service.
The picture they use is pretty old- her hair is shoulder length and much blonder. It's a short dark blonde pixie cut in the photo! She is a wonderful person- truly called to God's work. Here's the link:

Her husband is the new Associate Pastor of our church. He's a bit older than me and she's my age. He'll be ordained in Wisconsin in November. I hope to find some way to get to his ordination. It's only fair. :)
Otherwise, things are going pretty well. My job at church is moving along swimmingly and stuff is getting done! It's just amazing. :) I'm still working on getting our home movie VHS tapes ono DVD. I'm more than halfway there, but I've still got a way to go. It never ceases to amaze me how many tapes we have. It's wonderful.
