Well, I think I'll take this opportunity to do a little gloating. Well, not gloating, but saying how proud I am of myself. :)
Now, I am a huge weenie when it comes to needles. I hate shots and try to avoid needles as much as I can. Now, with a lot of prodding (and, actually, I think a little trickery), the senior pastor at my church got a bunch of staff members to go to a blood drive. I've been working as the interim office administrator, so I counted. I thought I made disagreeable noise, but I guess I agreed enough! So, for the first time ever, I donated blood today. Yay for me! I didn't get lightheaded or pass out or feel yucky or anything. Go me! And, best of all, I didn't cry. Kind of sad, but true. :)
So, I just had to share my accomplishment. Sorry if I seem a little ego-driven, but I am proud of myself. :) :)
