Evenin'.

Well, this chapter is just so "right". Especially with Ennis. Charging off, but not into his truck, just away from a situation he doesn't want to be in, and then rambling on conversing with himself, reciting all the woes-to-be and can't-do-it-becauses, only to be brought around to where he was all the time, knowing he can't let Jack slip through his hands this time, admitting again what he knew back in '64, that he never should have let Jack get out of his sight, and can't or he'll n ever see him again.

I like how you've used the younger Jim, a new generation, as the means to push the action forward. Jim gives them both someone to talk to and mull over thoughts with, while they give Jim the impetus to come out of his shell and move onward himself. I just hope nothing bad happens to Jim, coming from California but living in Wyoming of the '80s.

Looking forward to the next Part, and watching Ennis being pushed, pulled, and prodded into the best part of his life!! And I appreciate your sticking with this.

Thanks again.

Bud

Good afternoon, Bud.

Good to see you around these parts and hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm so glad you enjoyed my final installment of AFHH. I certainly enjoyed writing this story and have just posted the first Chapter of Pulling Leather today, which will pose it's own unique challenges and opportunities as Jack and Ennis finally try to achieve that Sweet Life. And, you bet, they will be a whole lot of pushing, pulling and prodding. Some of it might even be enjoyable. *wink*

Hope you stick around and let me know how I'm doing. Take care.

Love, Debra.
