Well, making amends is hard to do and coming clean on something this monumental is very hard so I give Ennis a lot of credit on all of this and well maybe hopefully Alma will accept how hard it is for him to talk about all of this. But, the pain she has felt also will probably come out and that is okay. Joe

Thanks so much, Joe. I agree that Ennis does deserve a lot of credit for making the strides that he has. And, yes, Alma has a lot of pain that has never been able to see the light of day either. Hopefully, their "talk" will be the first in a series of conversations that will help them leave the past behind and move on with their separate lives. Hopefully, each one will eventually see that happiness lies in front of them, not in what might have been left behind. Ennis is almost there. But, Alma has not even begun to see the wisdom in letting go.

Hey, Paula. Good to see you here again. I agree. Jack and Ennis need to follow their hearts. That is where their future lay. The past is only littered with regrets and pain, and all the missed opportunities never taken. They need to let go of what will never be, and continue to work toward that sweet life they always deserved.

Loved Ennis' process of talking out his desire and need to talk to his man. He went from one end of the teeter totter to the other and then back again. LOL.

And I know Alma was betrayed and she is still hurting. But now she is just plain bitter, growling at anything Ennis says. Ennis is right. They could sweep it under the rug but is that the healthy thing to do?
No, not if they both want to move on.

And is there not a Dollar General where Ennis can spend a buck to get a new coffee mug? Safety first, Ennis!! You're going to cut yourself on your own mug.
