[He catches his name while on the phone trying to figure out what the fuck is going on and why so many people seem to be losing their shit today, instantly perking up when he recognizes the voice.]

Yeah, I'm still here. Terezi? Shit, do you got any motherfuckin' clue what's all going on today? I think the town or something's fucking with Karkat's sponge, and Feferi's and Tavros's too, but I don't know how to fix it.

[Terezi very nearly hangs up. She chokes a little. Her voice is low and sad but very, very angry.]

I know what you did. What you've been doing.

[miraculls]

[He blinks at her tone, surprised.]

Uhhh...eating pie, chilling out, waiting for whatever this shit is to wear off, mostly. What else did I do again?

[foretastes]

Shut up!

If I catch you, I'm going to kill you. That's a promise.

[miraculls]

What? Why would -- you feeling okay, chica? Shit, you didn't go shithive too, did you?

[foretastes]

[at that, Terezi suddenly swells with an anger that flickers through her as hot and fierce as fire.]

I don't feel any different from usual. [There's a thread of doubt in his voice though - he's pretty sure he's fine, but with Karkat and Terezi both reacting so weirdly to him like he's crazy, he's starting to wonder if he might have done something today that he can't remember.]

Look, can we just chill for a while here? There's some real strange biznasty all going down in town today, you ain't the only one who's been acting off. Maybe we can split one of my pies, that always makes me feel better.

[foretastes]

[so he wants to face her. it's a challenge. Terezi does not hesitate.]

[miraculls]

My hive. You coming over? [He sounds pretty hopeful - maybe if they meet face to face, they can figure out what's going on together.]

[she doesn't have her cane-sword, but she's sure hallucinating she does. she hangs up, only to show up at fuckass hive some time later.]

[He opens the door, looking relieved.]

Terezi, hey. You feeling okay yet?

[foretastes]

[and she doesn't say anything; she just throws herself at him, hoping to tackle him by catching him off-guard.]

[miraculls]

Whoa!

[He's as off his guard as he can be, so they both go crashing down to the floor together, and wow this is kind of familiar.]

Uhhhh...you ain't gonna try to eat me again, are you?

[foretastes]

[no, not eat him. what she is going to do, though, is try to her hands around his throat while she still believes she's got the advantage.]

[miraculls]

[Disturbingly familiar, and Gamzee would really rather not die or flip out and kill anyone again. The sopor's still flowing strong in his veins and making him slow and sluggish though, so the most he can do is wrap his hands around her wrists and try to loosen the pressure, wheezing out his words in a choked croak.]

Fuck, listen to me, blindtits. Something's messing with your pan, you gotta let go, come on, you know you don't really wanna do this--

[he'll manage to take the pressure off, but her hands stay where they are; Terezi's pretty damn determined.]

How could someone like you outsmart me? [her voice is frustrated, angry, and she feels a fury running through her like none she's ever experienced before.] You were playing us all for fucking idiots, you set me up to kill Vriska, and if anyone deserves justice it's you-
