(no subject)
Just had a visit from Kathy & Shelby. Passed onto them a bunch of cat toys for their new boy Rufus. The other family cat chose to only care for Bill so not much of a family pet. Rufus is very gregarious and active. He also adores holding people down in place as he sits upon them. Our own household rule is if there is a cat in your lap you obviously can't get up. Since we have far fewer cats these days the house is much cleaner for one thing.
Bill is on call this week and I hope it isn't too crazy with the holiday. I want to take my flame thrower to more weeds around here and need him at hand for this chore.
The horse shoer arrived and nary a dog bothered to comment. Useless. He complimented my purple hair, I will recolor it the same next week.
