Today Bill helped me build the Sukkah as we are hosting services this Friday. So today I had to clear off the porch, use the photon cannon, and throw lots of summer junk away. Then took all the pieces out of the garage and lined them up in the back yard. It is a TON of work. The walls will be quilt tops as usual.
Yesterday at the Flying Geese Quilters Guild the speaker was a self described expert on Baltimore Album Quilts. It is a vast topic and I had such high hopes. The speaker appears to have early signs of Parkinsons like symptoms. Stammer voice and balance issues. She also couldn't hold the microphone in place, it would slip down, her lips were moving but no sound was coming out. I felt it could have been a better program.
Tomorrow I have to run into L.A. to Pico and hope to find an Etrog and Lulav for the service where you shake branches and smell fresh fruit and yippy we are blessed with the abundance of life!
