Up this morning before 6am. This middle age inability to sleep is just the bomb. Took the dog pack to their Sunday dog pack date. Couldn't believe those damn soccer teams were out and about on Easter, can't we heathens catch a break

Stage combat is fun. But the only time I actually got to do it onstage, was trying to do combat in a 1700's french ballgown - as the Baroness in Candide- I got stung by a wasp who got tangled in my skirt right at my big death moment...so the look of pain wasn't entirely acting. how he got his stinger through all that fabric underneath, I'll never know.
